I have been struggling with coils. I'm on a big budget and cut corners via buying coils on eBay, and turned out they were all counterfeits. Before I found out they were fakes I thought the coils were just the wrong fit for my kangertech subvod C, they were SSOCC .5 & 1.5 coils, so I read a snippet of someone saying the Clapton coil works best for the subvod, in a thread on here.
