My daughter was 6 weeks pregnant, a hard core smoker. She quite and two days later had a miscarriage. After much reading up on the matter many had reported having miscarriages by going cold turkey with smoking. She was even advised to stop slowly but wasn't told why. It's odd that the two days she went cold turkey the following day she started showing signs of spotting. They sent her to the ER where they did a ultrasound. It showed she was 6 weeks along but no heart beat. Needless to say...Cigs and pregnancy
