Help with newbie

Just built a 1.0 ohm coil using kanthal a1 dual 28ga with a 32 wrap fused Clapton. Does it make sense that it should be vaped at 25 plus watts? anything lower and the ramp up time is super long.
I guess building fused claptons to vape at 20watts or lower is kinda not worth it than? I like the flavor but only have one internal battery mod and this wont last me through the day vaping at over 25watts.
