When I got my first vape, I was 21-22. That was about 31/2 years ago. I can still remember myself vowing to my father that if he would buy me a new electronic cigarette at a $50 value I would quit cigarettes cold turkey. An that's what happened. My dad took me to the shop, bought me the e-cig and I did indeed quit cold turkey.
