1st build, help please

I just bought a Kanger subohm mini and want to try and build my first coil. I currently use a mini nautilus, 1.8 ohm bvc at 11watts. I would like to end up at around the same parameters.
My questions are:
What type of wire to use
What type of cotton to use
What tools will I need
What recommended vendor to buy supplies from

Bottom and top airflow...25mm from the looks of it...maybe 5ml? That chimey/deck section looks massive. I kinda hope they go postless with this one.
