Hello All,

Been a while since I posted on here, but I was hoping to perhaps get some advice to help navigate the quagmire of options these days.

I am currently running a duct tape and superglue homebuilt special. Basically just a radio shack battery box with 2 14500s and a 510 connection. I would call it a true mechanical mod, except that it doesn't actually have a switch anymore :D

Smok gx350

Hi all I just got a smok gx350 with the tfv8 tank I used it 2 days. went to take the tank off and it just spins. Took the tank apart down to the air flow ring and still just spins must be bad 510. Any ideas how to take it apart. Or should I just dry some more. It still will fire the tank but no way to get it off. HELP I have several mods and have never had this happen.

What is flux?

I'm confused!!
What area is being used?
On this page there are 2 examples.
1. a 8 ohm 32 gauge coil at 8000mW and Surface area=23.95mm^2: flux is said to be 317 mW/mm^2
2. two 0.8 ohm 27 ga coils in parallel at 40000mW and SA=61.55mm^2 : flux is said to ba 313 mW/mm^2
but
8000/23.95 = 334
40000/61.55 = 650

What is flux?

So I just got my 1st mech, the Dotmod Petri lite with the Petri v2 RDA and I was quite surprised to find that the positive pin is BARELY protruding on the V2 and therefore I'm a lil nervous to put a build in it. Is anyone familiar with these that could give me some advice? It's a beauty but I still don't want to blow my face off just to look good while vaping haha. I know next to nothing about mechs so any pointers would be awesome. Btw I'm so glad to be a new member of this...

Kylin Flavorless

I got the Kylin and have finally got it to stop leaking by wicking it accordingly but still having a hard time wicking it. I have realized it has to be wicked perfect (not to much cotton not to little) but I noticed under the coils the cotton tends to burn or get black but also can't get any flavor from this thing. I'm using kanthal spaced coils 8 wraps @ 3mm dual coil which comes to .35 ohm.
I have also tried 3mm Clapton's @.15 and still no flavor. What gets flavor blasting?

I ordered quite a few Inawera flavorings about 3 weeks ago. From Poland at a flat rate of 8.95 for 14 bottles, 10ml and less than $4 each, some less than $3, it took a little over 2 weeks to get here. I haven't gotten to all of them yet.
Couple days steeping, no heat, just shaken. 5ml samples.

Smoked Plum (Sliwka Wedzona) 3%- 5 stars. Sweet fragrant fresh cooked plum taste. Not tart and not pruney. Very good. I can't wait to play with this one. Maybe cream, maybe tobacco...maybe going...

... not all mods that I found advertise with the fourth dimension - the weight! I mean, 200g+ is way too heavy.

I already use eGo like batteries and single 18650 mods, but I want a new dual, that don't need any reinforcements of my pockets caused by the fourth dimension (weight) of the mod itself. I mean, 200g+ is to heavy.

Hi,
Long-time smoker; new to vaping.
My setup –
Evic Vtwo Mini
I use the Evic in temperature control mode – 470 Fahrenheit at 60 watts.
Sense Blazer Mini tank with .2 ohm coil; coil is rated at 50 to 80 watts.
The resistance for the coil shows as .23 on the Evic so that is where I locked it.

Coil priming -
Coil primed until nearly leaking on the table.
Coil placed in tank, tank filled with juice, I take five or six pulls on the tank without
hitting the fire button.
Wait 5-10 minutes, take...

I'm back into vaping since May 27th. I had an eGo setup I got in 2007 but fizzled out from using it due to dip tobacco addiction. Ten years later I have given it up and supplemented my habit with vaping, and I'm in love. All the time I dipped those years, and I have nothing to show for it. I can hold my sub ohm mod in my hand for years. And that's one week of dip. I'm done dipping.

I'm almost half a century old so I'm "owlish". Haven't arrived but fairly close I think.

Starting vaping 2 weeks ago to stop smoking cigarettes. Bought some items from Vapesourcing.com. They didn't work when I received them. Contacted them, was told to make a "video". I told them I don't have the means or skills to do that. They replied that I could pay shipping back to China and when it was received they would refund my money. It was only $30 and my credit card will pull their charge anyway. But I'll just buy from American outlets now.

Ehpro kayfun lite plus v2, having dry hit problems. It's fine after picking it up while it's been sitting, good for a few hits then it starts to dry out.

2.1 ohm coil, 32 gauge kanthal, bacon cotton vaping at 3.5 volts (5.8 watts). I have the coil spaced evenly instead of compressed.

Like I said it's a clone, machined very well the channels are perfect, and I'm using a fasttech bellcap (2ml capacity) with shortened chimney.

I set the coil up diagonally across the airhole, so the tails...

Just received this mod today. A very well built / solid device for under $100 that utilizes dual 18650s and can realistically fire up to 120W without issues. The form factor is just perfect on this mod. Similar in width as the cuboid but shorter and fatter which makes it more ergonomic.

Feels very nice in the hand. Its the only mod I have where the fire button is on the opposite side of where your atty sits. (actually the cuboid does this too)

Only tested it for a couple hours so far in...

Can you tell me which coil you would recommend for a Baby Beast Tank on a SMOK Alien mod if flavor is your main goal?

I usually vape between 18-30watts and prefer a medium to low air flow. Im also a direct lung vaper.

A little over 2 years ago I ended a 30 year smoking habit, that was up to 2 packs a day, with vaping. I never would have thought this was possible. Now I feel the time has come to step away from the vape. It's been a good run and I have had fun with it but the end is near. I've weaned myself down on the nicotine and can go for hours without a care. I shall be forever grateful to this wonderful way I got off the smokes. Peace.

I've been doing tricks for a while and I'm not all that great. No where I look is any help so I thought Ild come here for advice. I'm pretty solid at os and pushing them but that seems to be the top for me. I can kind of get the triangles and almost always a jelly. Going to try mixing some juice…..Want to try it on the cheap first to see how it comes out. How does this sound for a plan to try out. This would I believe work out to close to 25PG/75VG and 3mg/ml nicotine and would only require VG, Nicotine in PG base, and flavoring.

I want to end up with around 3mg/ml nicotine and will use 24mg/ml base nicotine because it will be sufficient for my use to blend and I don’t really want higher nic laying around.

The mix per 60 ml finished.

Problem with Vaporesso cCell Coils

Hi!
I bought 2 packs of these Vaporesso ceramic coils (one pack, kanthal, the other one, Ni200).
I installed the kanthal one in my Atlantis tank and the Ni200 in the Triton. I let them sit for about an hour and both coils are giving me a horrible burnt taste.
I mean, is the same taste you get from a dry hit.
Im rockin´the kanthal coil over a Snow Wolf at 24 watts and the Ni200 coil over a Cuboid, in Ni Temp Mode at 440 F°.
Most reviewers say one minute to prime them up and you are good to...

I am a newbie and looking for a good tasting ejuice.
I am still working on getting my taste buds back and having a horrid time with finding good tasting juice that I am getting very discouraged and want to go back to analogs.
I have found that the sweet pastry type ejuice are just not doing it for me - I cant taste them at all

Ok so Im not sure if my setup is even ok to run this. Im new to high sub ohm vaping and from what I know the tfv12 t12 is suppose to output up to 300W. This mod I bought is probably the wrong choice since its 200w. And 3rd of all, Im not even sure if these batteries are even suitable for this setup. Is there any chance of damage to the device with these combinations? Im worried the mod maybe outputting too lower power for this coil

SMOK GX350 problems

So I bought my GX 350 a few months ago and I love it. Recently its been asking if I want watt or temp mode and when I try to change it it moves automatically between the two. It also automatically changes the wattage every other time I lock it to 6.00w which is super annoying because once when I try to get the wattage up to 145 (my usual) then it locks without warning then does the temp watt mode thing. If I don't press anything it stays lit up and keeps switching between them. I was...

Gurgly Nautilus 2 Tank?

I love my Nautilus 2 tank in terms of look and feel, and the flavour and everything else is great...when it's working right.

But...

It seems to go gurgly, greasy and leaky all the time, seemingly at random. I can use it, place it down for an hour, go back to it and it's gone gurgly. Liquid seems to find its way into the middle of the atty all the time.

I'm not over filling it. Just stripped it right down, wiped everything, new atty, left it to soak and it's gurgling and greasy...

Dont know if this is the right place to be. I placed an order at Halo for 2 -30ml btls, my bill was $40 then when I got to the final price my bill was over $65 with the 40% PA tax. I cancelled my order. Vaping is now more expensive than analogs. Is everything going to be that high, or is it just the e-liquid? Eleaf Pico 25 MTL help

Went from a cheap pen setup to a eleaf istick Pico 25 and so far absolutely hate it.

Running the HW1 Single-Cylinder 0.2ohm Head it came with at 55watts.

There's no drag, too warm and it pops and spits.

I didn't realize the difference between mtl and straight to lung before buying it. Is there anyway to convert this to a mtl and have a drag like my old pen / clearomizer setup or did I waste sixty bucks?

It has the ello tank and can fit tanks upto 25mm

I am at my wits end. I'm also going broke trying to find the right ecig. I love the way the joyetech egrip 30w CL (with RBA base) vapes but wanted something new bc it leaks alot. I've had all 3 of these recommended (and I bought):

I just posted this to Reddit, but i thought I'd share it here as well.

This is a quick fix for the SMOK Alien reading inaccurate and fluctuating ohms. If this has been posted before, I apologize. While I found many, many posts on numerous forums outlining this problem, I couldn't find a single post anywhere detailing/ outlining an exact possible fix for it and thought I'd share my solution. So here we go:

Goon RDA. Why?

I picked up a Goon RDA because I've seen so many people give it great reviews. I don't understand why. The clamp system on the deck is ok but the airflow is horrible. I like my Icon so much better. My Mason Gemini and my Armageddon Elite are definitely alot better but those are both 30mm RDAs. I don't understand all the love for the Goon. If you have a Goon what are your thoughts? Also if you have a Goon 1.5 how does it compare to the original Goon?

Smok gx350

Hi all I just got a smok gx350 with the tfv8 tank I used it 2 days. went to take the tank off and it just spins. Took the tank apart down to the air flow ring and still just spins must be bad 510. Any ideas how to take it apart. Or should I just dry some more. It still will fire the tank but no way to get it off. HELP I have several mods and have never had this happen.

Has anybody tried anything from Wonder Flavours? They're a new flavor company out of Montreal. I became interested because I live close to there, (weird reason I know), and I ordered 3 flavorings.
