I need help with a geekvape 521

I bought a geekvape 521 and I tested at the shop with my phenomenon. Perfect.
Brought it home and put the little bambino that I bought (I don't know why I got it) on it to build. The 510 protrudes so much and I guess it's pushed the 510 connector down and none of my good attys make contact now. They all register as "non" and if I unscrew the pin enough then I get a reading but the pin is so loose and the readings are all over the place and that's no good....
